My life as a scuba diving instructor in Indonesia looked glamorous and adventurous. And it was for a while.
BUT, I always had that little voice in the back of my mind (and well-meaning friends and parents) saying, “You can’t do this forever.”
I knew my lifestyle wouldn’t support me as my goals evolved. I was fine living abroad on $1,000 a month but what if I eventually wanted spontaneous vacations, a home of my own, and to provide for a future family?
I didn’t even know if I really wanted those things, but I needed to have THE OPTION to change my mind.
